About our Ministry

GOD IS LOVE MINISTRY Inc., GILM, is a non-profit organization formed in Antigua and Barbuda wholly by Antiguans and Barbudans for the pursuit of social, religious, educational, philanthropic and patriotic purposes; it was incorporated in July 2014 under the laws of Antigua and Barbuda

GILM was established to share the love of God through service to humanity and holds dearly the principle that we should love one another, for love is of God. In this, it is the vision of the Company that the Love of God would be expressed and manifested in the actions through:

To share the gospel of salvation with those in need.
To establish a community centre focusing on transforming the lives of individuals.
To provide counselling services and a community outreach program
Operation of a retail operation to fund the ongoing Program /Activities
To provide medical assistance to economically challenged families
To assist with education/scholarship funding for the youth, young or single parents
To provide a Food Assistance Program to the less fortunate
Assist with the payment of utility services
To provide senior citizens with supplementary assistance
To provide rental/mortgage assistance
Provide disaster relief assistance

How it started

Approximately 26 years ago, my wife and I started an outreach Program for financially challenged families within our communities. We began by assisting in the form of school supplies and bus fares to school children. As the needs increased, we started delivering basic food supplies and medical aid, especially to single women with Children.

We later expanded and provided at least fifteen students with uniform assistance, especially school shoes and school supplies, at the end beginning of each calendar school year. We also provide hot lunches to several children. This program is on a need basis.

Over the year, I have been personally working with prisoners and have extended the outreach Program to assist the prisoner’s children with clothing, school supplies and meals.

I have also been working in government schools in mentoring young men challenged with drug abuse. I also offer photography classes free of charge.

The present economic situation in my country has created an increased number of families seeking assistance. As the demand increased, we decided to establish a not-for-profit organization.

This is our vision. We intend to continue to expand our outreach Program and to assist more Antiguans—especially the children.
